It’s not all fashion shoots and hopskotch at St Lukes though, the classmates have a political point to make as well.
Their library is under threat from lack of government funding so Margin is making a donation to keep the library going and we will be asking visitors to Margin and the Margin website to donate also. The Classmates are busy working on their gallery art to remind Margin visitors about donating. They’ll be in good company with their art hanging alongside Margin art contributors Pete Fowler, Thunderbolt, and Tim Daly.
![]() ![]() Margin London August 2003Tuesday, July 1st, 2003MARGIN LONDON is an affordable exhibition giving new fashion labels a platform to reach a larger buying and press audience. Showcasing upscale streetwear and directional fashion, the forthcoming August editions of Margin London will showcase a tightly edited selection of Menswear and Womenswear. MENS > The Mens show gathers the finest exponents of upscale streetwear and casual tailoring from the UK, Europe, and the US. The Mens edition will showcase modern tailoring from brands such as Spiked Punch, Bond International, Tyler and Yes; directional graphics from new labels including Scrawl Tees, Urino, Tank Theory and Two People; and accessories with broad appeal from labels including Airkit, Block Headwear, Truck Brand, Skratch and Weirdworks. 11 USA Labels showing exclusively at Margin; 16 New labels debuting their ranges in the UK; Artist Pete Fowler will be decorating the free bar and magazine area.
