Margin London x International Fashion Fair Tokyo

Margin is pleased to announce the exchange programme with International Fashion Fair Tokyo.

Organised by leading Japanese fashion industry publisher Senken Shimbun, the International Fashion Fair (IFF) is the largest trade exhibition in Japan. Between 1 to 3 labels exhibiting at Margin London in July 2006 will be selected by the IFF committee to exhibit free of charge in the directional hall called “Creators Village“.

By return, a Japanese exhibitor from the Creator’s Village at IFF Tokyo will be able to exhibit free of charge at Margin in London. Senken Shimbun have regularly visited to report on Margin since the shows started in 2002 and selected Margin as the only UK event to take part in the exchange programme based on the directional offering of labels.

The IFF is collaborating only with CPH Vision (Copenhagen), Rookies (Stockholm), Upside (Milan), and exclusively Margin from London.

Margin London takes place on the:
30th & 31st July 2006
with the IFF Tokyo taking place from the:
19th to the 21st July 2006

London fashion exhibition Margin has purchased the Showroom Group. SPACEshowroom.com provides an online fashion industry network to link Buyers and Brands. Amazingly there are over 45 fashion weeks and over 1500 trade fairs globally each season. Brands can't be expected to show at all of them and Buyers can't be expected to visit them all. Brands can save on exhibition costs and Buyers can save on travel costs by making use of SPACEshowroom.com online fashion industry network. Instead of walking miles collecting line sheets, buyers can browse them from the comfort of their computer. Brands can sign up for membership and create their own brand page with their brand background, contact details, press highlights and any other information they consider valuable. They can upload their line sheets and images from their range for buyers to view and download. Only accredited buyers are granted access to the brand pages, free of charge.
