Margin London Feb 14-15, 2010, London, UK New & International Labels flock to Margin London, the Upscale Streetwear & Directional Tailoring Trade Show With over 50% of exhibitors making their global launch at the upscale streetwear & directional tailoring exhibition, Margin in London is the one and only trade event at which to discover exciting new design talent. More than half of the show, which is being held at The Music Rooms in Mayfair, is made up of brand new emerging designers who have chosen Margin as their global launchpad to meet with key buyers from directional independent, multiple and department stores, as well as consumer and trade fashion press. Taking place on the 14th & 15th February 2010, Margin also sees the return of many previous exhibitors who have successfully launched and grown their wholesale business at Margin London including UK brands such as Lazy Oaf, Mr Wingate, Junkfunk, Conquer, Me & Zena, My Yard, and Ultrarama, as well as international brands such as Mimobots, St Vacant, Germain Minette, and Vestal Watches. The February 2010 edition of Margin is a truly international event with exhibitors from Austria, China, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Latvia, and the USA joining homegrown talent from across the UK & Ireland; and many international buyers have pre-registered to visit, from countries such as France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Italy, Ukraine, and Russia. With UK buyers from large stores such as House of Fraser, Fenwicks, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Williams & Griffin, Joy, and ASOS already pre-registered, plus the many independent boutiques Margin is well-known for consistently welcoming season after season, clued-up buyers from key stores understand that Margin is the prime location to discover new and directional design to offer their consumers a real point of difference from the competition. The February 2010 edition will be the 18th, which not only makes Margin the longest-running independent trade exhibition in London, but also maintains the position of Margin as the most successful, affordable and directional event that gives new and emerging designers a high-profile and order-writing platform to meet with key buyers and press. About Margin The longest-running independent trade event in London, Margin is an intimate and credible showroom of edited design talent with the next exhibition being the 18th edition + Nearly eight years strong, Margin is a proven and established trade exhibition linking fresh talent with key press and buyers (many of whom do not like going to traditional trade shows) + The Original and the best platform for new talent for over seven years, Margin was established to help new labels reach a wider buying and press audience + Retailers travel the world looking for the next big thing but are never going to find up-and-coming designers at a show whose costs prohibit fresh talent + +++ Margin is a curated event where Buyers, Editors, and Stylists know they can find great new labels season after season and don't have to wade through hall after hall of established brands to find directional new products to offer their readers or shoppers. +++ Spaces are limited to appropriate brands only that have a directional edge and something new to offer + at larger events where mainstream brands take centre-stage and priority, new labels can often be an opportunity missed. Since the exhibitions first started back in 2002, Margin can lay claim to providing the successful trade launch-pad for many brands such as Supremebeing, Lady Luck Rules OK, Dephect, Emily & Fin, EIO, Missmilne, Worn Free, Chateau Roux, Your Eyes Lie, Sugarhill, King Apparel, Terratag, Lazy Oaf, Famous Forever, Yamama, and Ruby Rocks, as well as the UK launching point of overseas brands including Upper Playground, Eastpak Apparel, Loreak Mendian, Syndrome, Nooka, Gama-Go, Mimobots, Double Goose, Stereo Sound Agency, Diamond Supply Co, Urban Originals, Uzi, and Z-Boy amongst many others. Margin has welcomed key stores to the exhibitions since first launching in 2002; from department stores, such as Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, House of Fraser, Psyche, Fenwick, El Corte Ingles, Saks 5th Avenue, Galleries Lafayette, & Engelhorn Trendhaus; online players like ASOS, My-Wardrobe, and Urban Industry; multiples such as Ark, Joy, Beams, Ships, and Westworld; as well as the key independents Margin is renowned for, including Colette, Hip, Sakis, Wood, Souvenir, Royal Cheese, Natterjacks, 90sqm, Coggles, Market, Atoo, Remixx, My Yard, Donuts, Ace, Lunacy, Savage, Fortyfive, Bread & Honey, American Retro, Bespoke, Wallace, and Cutie, to name a few. Oft trifft man unvermittelt Kostbarkeiten.
