Making quite a stir in the contemporary art scene for his evocative, nostalgic tinged works, Edwin Ushiro returns for another gallery show in 2010, this time taking place at the Roq La Rue gallery in Seattle. Entitled “Preceding Sunday”, the exhibition will showcase a great new collection of mixed-media works from the Los Angeles-based artist. The opening reception is set for Friday, September 10th, 2010 (6pm-9pm).

O Clock is the latest timepiece company to hit the states. Based out of Milan, Italy, the watches carry a great deal of quality yet are only priced at $36 USD. Three different sizes (small, medium, and large) will become available, all coming in a vibrant range of eye-catching colors, ideal for just about anyone. Fall 2010 kicks off the second half of iconic outdoor brand Penfield’s 35th Anniversary celebration. To mark the milestone, Penfield has re-issued the classic Outback vest from their archives and given it a limited-edition upgrade in 100% calfskin leather. First released in the 1970’s, the Outback has become a staple style in Penfield’s Winter collections as it embodies the Penfield design ideal of matching functionality and durability with style and a classic silhouette. The 35th Anniversary vest features a contrast brown leather shoulder yoke, front snap closure, two insulated handwarmer pockets and premium 80/20 goose down insulation. It’s extra warm, ultra luxe and pays homage to Penfield’s rich history. Retailing for $500 USD, the vest hits stores next week and will be available online when the Penfield website re-launches on September 15th, 2010.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of retailer double-park, respected Hong Kong street label Fingercroxx link up with Michael Lau on another collaborative release, following up their previous project back in 2007. Dubbed TOOBIGFOOT, the figure, designed by Lau, obviously ties in with the big foot aesthetic, featured here in a limited edition grey colorway that will be limited to only 499 units. The figure also comes with a special stackable tree trunk box, highlighting the brand logos on the backside. A release for the figure is set for this Saturday, September 11th at EX.I.T. in Causeway Bay.
